Mt Crosby Soccer Carnival Wrap Up: Sunday 18th July 2010 saw a number of parents and players of the North Star Liverpool U6/7 side get up early and head to the Colleges United Soccer Carnival being held at Mt Crosby Sports Fields (Allawah Rd, Mt Crosby). We were under glorious blue skies for the entire day so it was a wonderful day with soccer action aplenty. Our boys had 5 games to play from 10am – 2.00pm so it is safe to say it was a tiring day for the boys.
North Star Liverpool was represented very strongly by: Matthew Gradwell, Alec Hodge, David Walters, Campbell Stuen-Parker, James Hong and Thomas Raymond.

All the boys did extremely well controlling the run of play in 4 of our 5 games. The boys were a stand out side amongst some very good competition, showing teamwork and soccer skills well above their age group. Scores at this age are not kept but when these boys get into the older divisions I am sure they will be a team to keep your eye on. There were too many wonderful moments of great soccer, great sportsmanship and great behaviour to single them out one by one so I will just let the wonderful photos of Patrick Hong do the talking. Excellent soccer U6/7 Liverpool well played. If any other teams get the opportunity to play at a carnival run by Colleges United I would highly recommend they take that opportunity.
