North Star Football Association Inc. (NSFA) is a premier league soccer club with a heritage spanning more than 40 years. Over the years NSFA has been recognised as a leading soccer organisation in Brisbane and has developed a recognised brand name. During the 40 plus years and even more recently, NSFA has enjoyed outstanding success in junior and senior level soccer and had been approached to join the National Soccer League (NSL) in the early 1980s.

NSFA currently maintains an average of 450 junior players (under 6 to under 16), 100 senior players (Youth, Metro, Women and Premier League Senior Squads) and has a membership base of more than 500 households. Through the current junior and talent identification and development programs and the development of women’s soccer, NSFA is seeking to expand its current membership base to over 600 playing members and over 1000 households within the next several years.

NSFA has enjoyed much success over the years and now we believe it is the time to take the organisation to the next level. North Star has been named “Outstanding Junior club of the Year” for the 2003 and 2004 season, by the old governing body, Brisbane North District Junior Football Association. I

NSFA's relationship with Brisbane Strikers has helped maintain a pathway for our junior players to be exposed to the Queensland State League. The committee of NSFA are appreciative of the sponsorship offered by The Brisbane Strikers and the late Doctor Clem Jones.  

For North Star to continue to meet its current and future objectives, to continue to provide a significant partnership in the community and to develop soccer to ensure Australia’s recognition on the international scene, NSFA Committee accepts that financially we cannot stand alone without the influx of major sponsorships.

The Vision Statement of NSFA is to provide the highest level playing opportunity for players of every development level. To provide playing opportunity for all ages from Under 6 to Open age groups, for both male and female participants.
